Description

mustang mach 1 hot wheel.

first i cut off the rivets and disassembled the car, i clipped off the spoiler (pinged off some where into the living room) and shaved it down flat.

i shaved down the pegs on two thrusters from a gundam death scythe hell custom's shroud and glued them to the roof as air intake.

the guns are sid earms from a GI joe motorcycle.

the rear was made of 2 different shoulder pads from halo reach spartans and shaved down and glued down.

i used my scalple to crack the windsheild, and bent a paper clip into the guard on the grill. flat black spray and ready for paint

i painted the whole car in a light (nearly white) blue, i then covered in a "true blue" and a drybrush of the light blue.

more dry brushing in an assortment of grey paints i did a light application of silver on areas to accent the grey and give the appearence of lost paint.

black was used on the rear thruster/armor and on little details like the wiper blades, i also used a stippling technique to give the appearence of smoke damage around the engine and guns. the guns received selective grey tones and a light silver wash.

sable brown was lightly applied to dirty the whol car up and the grill and engine got a little silver brush.

the head and tail lights received high gloss top coat over nail polish to make them truly pop ( they just damn near shine in person) and a slightly bubbled look cane out of it unintentionally.

the interior was painted with gloss red spray (though not visible save for the dash) and the interior was likewise detailed with blacks grays and silver brush on the center console only to never be seen again.

after reassembly the whole thing got a clear coat (my paint is older and didnt mix properly wich gave it a dappled look i acctually like a lot)

glued him together and now hes waiting for a name
